COLLABORATION AND CONFERENCE GRANTS
ABOUT
Member Institutions are invited to apply for $12,500 Collaboration and Conference Grants to bring together faculty and administrators from different institutions in church-related higher education.
The Lilly Network hopes these grants will extend and strengthen the national conversation about church-related higher learning and mission among our network campuses.
Collaborations invite a small group to consider a topic of concern or interest in a workshop setting.
Conferences bring together a large group of faculty or administrators (possibly along with students or community members) to examine a common concern or topic of special significance to the group.
EXAMPLES
Examples of conferences and collaborations that might be funded have focused on:
Issues facing schools in a particular region
Student life concerns
Theological or denominational traditions in higher education and the challenges facing them
Topics in liberal and professional education and the ways that church-related higher education can address these topics
Issues of civic and public concern to the Christian intellectual community
Funds might be used for the conference venue, food and beverages, supplies, travel or honoraria for speakers,
